Actor Anson Mount returns as Black Bolt on the 2017 ABC series Inhumans. He appears as part of the Illuminati and with a voice that can wreak havoc with just a quiet whisper.

Lashana Lynch reprises her remarkable role from 2019’s Captain Marvel, when she played an Air Force pilot and one of Carol Danvers’ (the original Captain Marvel’s) best friends. Lynch took on the role of “Doctor Strange” as another version of the superhero.

However, since Fox held the rights to the mutant characters for decades, the heroes could not appear in any other MCU project. But when Marvel Studios acquired 21st Century Fox in 2019, it opened up plenty of opportunities for more X-Men to appear in other Marvel works.

Charlize Theron also appears in the credits scene as Clea, a sorceress from the Dark Dimension. she sees dr Strange and asks for his help as they jump through a portal at the end of the film.
