Amber Heard’s Witness Apparently Reveals Aquaman 2 Spoilers

A witness for Amber Heard appeared to reveal some secrets about the upcoming DC movie Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom on Monday.

Entertainment consultant Kathryn Arnold has seemingly dropped some spoilers during the ongoing defamation trial of Heard, 36, and her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Arnold noted that the first draft of the script gave Heard – who plays Princess Mera in the sequel and parent film – a “strong romantic arc” and “some great action sequences”.

Entertainment consultant Kathryn Arnold testified on behalf of the DC star during the ongoing defamation Heard is implicated in with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Later revisions indicated that her role was “radically reduced”.

“She ends up in the hospital early in this new Aquaman 2 movie and only comes out at the end to kind of wrap things up. All interactions with Momoa’s character and certainly the action scenes have been removed,” Arnold explained at the booth.

While Arnold didn’t specify why Mera would be under medical treatment in the superhero film, she did state that it was because she was “injured” or “it had something to do with a baby.”

Mera is the love interest of Aquaman himself, played by Jason Momoa. In the Aquaman comics, it is written that the couple has a child named Arthur Curry Jr., also known as Aquababy.

Arnold also claimed the “Stepdad” actress “trained with a trainer for five hours a day for several months” for an action sequence, though Heard’s role was diminished.

Heard testified during the court case last week that Warner Bros. was cutting back on their screen time and “didn’t want to put me in the DC Comics sequel.”

“I was given a script and then new versions of the script that had removed scenes of action depicting my character and another character, no spoilers, two characters fighting each other, and they basically took a bunch out of my role” , she said. “You just removed a bunch.”

Also in her testimony, Arnold noted for the court that Heard’s career skyrocketed after starring in 2018’s Aquaman.

“At that moment, not only was she a good actress, but she was world famous because she was in DC Comics’ highest-grossing film,” she said of the film, which went on to gross more than $1.1 billion at the box office.

“It was just this extraordinary moment for her to launch her career,” she continued.

Reports surfaced yesterday that 42-year-old Momoa had allegedly defended Heard in order to retain her role in the sequel. Arnold shed some light on the matter, saying Momoa and director James Wan are “committed to her” and “strongly believe” she’ll be in the film anyway.
