Bakery shamed over Amber Heard’s ‘sick’ pastries by Johnny Depp

A bakery in Australia has been attacked online after it shared a controversial dessert made during the trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

In a viral video that has been viewed over 616,000 times, Dessert Boxes said it would send Heard, 36, a golden-brown donut in the shape of a hand with a severed finger, alluding to Depp’s statement about his finger injury, 58.

“We’re sending Amber Heard a dessert box. We cut off the finger with a vodka bottle and throw that in for them too,” the unidentified narrator said in the video while someone was putting the order together.

The inclusion of the vodka bottle is likely a reference to Heard’s testimony that the actor sexually assaulted her with a liquor bottle.

“And we’re sending this piece to Johnny Depp,” the voice added as they showed the camera the piece of donut that was supposed to be the severed finger.

The video’s caption reads, “Will she like it?” with a crying laughing emoji and #justiceforjohnnydepp among other related tags.

Dessert Boxes did not respond to the Post’s request for comment.

This six-second clip quickly garnered hundreds of comments, with some viewers laughing at the “dark humor” but many others condemning the video as “tone deaf.”

“Is this supposed to be funny????” Megan Anderson quizzes on the video.

“This is not okay,” Zara commented, while another user asked, “Are you sick?”

“This is screwed up,” added Nunzie Madden.

“POV: how to get out of business,” said user634085706105.

“Oh, so are we laughing at people’s trauma now?” Mariam asked.

TikTok was quick to point out how "unmusical" the video was.

“Jokes about dv [domestic violence] will never be funny,” _meiikeh noted.

However, not everyone was against the video.

“290+ negative comments… 15,100+ likes… looks like you read the space well,” noted Kím Akweí.

“This is amazing,” said Jerica McCormick.

Depp and Heard are embroiled in a libel lawsuit that has captivated audiences around the world – particularly on TikTok – as their dramatic and horrifying allegations of abuse come to light in witness testimonies. In fact, a recent study found that Americans care more about the Depp v. Heard trial than about war, abortion and inflation.

During the trial, the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor claimed in court that his ex-wife threw a vodka bottle at him, which resulted in his finger being ‘severed’ during a trip to Australia in 2015.

Depp is suing the “Aquaman” actress for defamation, alleging she ruined his career and reputation after writing an op-ed in The Washington Post that didn’t name him, claiming after their 2017 divorce being a survivor of domestic violence.

Heard counters Depp and maintains her allegations that her ex-husband physically and emotionally abused her on multiple occasions during their relationship.
