Beyoncé Gifts Cardi B Renaissance Album, Handwritten Note

It may not be the holidays yet, but Beyoncé showered other celebrities with gifts like Santa this month. Just days after sending Sheryl Lee Ralph a beautiful bouquet of flowers to celebrate the actor’s historic Emmys win, the “Break My Soul” singer surprised Cardi B with a limited-edition “Renaissance” vinyl and a personal thank you note.

Beyoncé wrote in silver ink on the outer cover of the record: “To: Cardi B. Hard working, beautiful and talented Queen, thank you for always supporting me. I send so much love to you and yours. Respect, Beyoncé.” With Cardi B’s 30th birthday on October 11, we have a feeling this already takes the number one spot for best gift of the year.

The “WAP” rapper excitedly shows off the thoughtful gift in a video shared to Twitter and her Instagram story on Sept. 19. “Look what Beyoncé sent me. Read it, bitch,” she says, before warning fans about the measures she’ll be taking to protect the prized possession. “I’m going to put it in a glass frame with laser beams on it,” she jokes. “Anyone who gets next to Mom is going to get electrocuted at the sight of Mom.” The Grammy winner concludes by saying, “I just want to say thank you, I feel so special,” before sharing a few lines from Beyoncés “Plastic Off the Sofa” sings.

Cardi B has shown her love for “Renaissance” from the start. After “Break My Soul” was released in June, she danced at home to her own fast-paced rendition of the single, and her video ended up being featured in Beyoncé’s first-ever TikTok post. We love to see it.
