“Drugs Became Best” by him and Whitney Houston

It was love at first sight for Bobby Brown when he met Whitney Houston backstage at the 1989 Soul Train Music Awards.

But apparently the “My Prerogative” singer and late pop superstar also had the lustiest of them all.

“Me and Whitney’s sex life was pretty intense,” says the R&B singer in the new documentary Biography: Bobby Brown, which premieres on A&E Monday and Tuesday nights. “It didn’t matter where we were. It was a certain look and she was looking at me a certain way. It was on and banged.”

Brown, 53, says he was amazed by both Houston’s smell and her eyes. “There was something about her eyes that melted me inside,” he says. “The way she looked at me from the first day we were together to the last day it was always special.”

Describing Houston as “the love of my life,” Brown says, “She was just the kindest, sweetest person I knew.”

But on their wedding day on July 18, 1992, Brown was shocked to discover a different side of Houston.

“I walked in and, um, saw her making a batch of cokes. It was a shock for me to see her sniffing for the first time,” he reveals.

“I think that’s when I realized we had more in common than I thought. I was new to it and I guess she’s been doing it for a while.”

In addition to substance abuse on both sides, there were issues with Houston’s longtime assistant — and former lover — Robyn Crawford.

“I didn’t realize until later in our marriage that Whitney’s relationship was more than just a friendship,” says Brown. “I think our marriage grew and there was no room for a third person in our marriage.”

However, Brown now regrets that Crawford left Houston’s team. “Robyn was a good friend of Whitney’s,” he says, “and I can say I wish Robyn were still in her life after all.”

And Brown will always regret that drugs got between him and Houston, which led to their divorce in 2007.

“We’ve always felt that our love is strong enough to overcome any obstacle that comes before us,” he says of his relationship with Houston, who died on February 11, 2012. “We’d still be together if it weren’t for, you know, drugs. Drugs just overwhelmed us.”
