Harry Styles has returned – and that’s all you’ll see.
The British pop star-turned-actor has recently spoken out about the level of nudity being featured in his upcoming film My Policeman.
Styles, 28, revealed he’ll be showing off his backside – and just his butt — to his thirsty fan base in the new romantic drama in a new interview with Howard Stern, according to Billboard.
The “Watermelon Sugar” singer, who performed live at Rockefeller Center on NBC’s “Today” show on Thursday morning, said he will show his “bum” in the new film — but unfortunately “no peen,” bucking trend with other actors lately.
My Policeman follows Styles as Officer Tom Burgess – a man involved in a scandalous love triangle between his wife Marion, played by The Crown Breakout star Emma Corrin, and his lover Patrick, played by David Dawson.
Two gay love scenes are said to be in the film, the Sun reported last year.
“Harry is going to be having sex on screen and they want it to look as real as possible,” a source told the publication at the time, noting that there would be “two romps” involving Harry and Styles and Dawson plus one other scene “where Harry is naked alone.”
However, despite Style’s recent declaration of modesty, the source added, “Not much is left to the imagination.”
And Styles was apparently ready to throw himself into his sizzling scenes.
“Harry is thriving in this new role and is really looking forward to the challenge, albeit a daunting task,” the Sun source added. “He always wants to do things that people wouldn’t expect and challenge what people think of him – and this film will really do that.”
In the new Stern interview, Styles also explained that he had to “wear a gas mask” during filming to protect his breathing while make-up artists airbrushed his dozens of tattoos for the nude scenes.
Elsewhere in their conversation, the crooner revealed that he auditioned for Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming “Elvis” biopic.
“I was very intrigued by it,” the former One Direction member said of the film, which stars Austin Butler as hip-swinging rock icon Elvis Presley. “I feel like if a director doesn’t feel like I’m the best person for the role, then it’s better for him and better for me. If they think the film will be better with someone else, then I don’t want to do it because I don’t want to be the less good version.”
Styles has previously showcased his acting skills in Dunkirk (2017) and Olivia Wilde’s latest film Don’t Worry Darling, as well as last year in Marvel’s The Eternals with a cameo appearance .
