I have a forked tongue and can taste two different foods at the same time

A viral body modifier never has to choose between Coke or Pepsi.

Brianna Mary Shihadeh, known as @flowerfriendly on TikTok, is a California dreadlock artist who surgically split her tongue.

The Southern California native recently stunned her 1.7million followers when she placed cans of dueling fizzes in front of her – then dipped both sides of her tongue into the various drinks.

Shihadeh wondered if she could tell the difference between the sodas and licked her tongue just to be sure.

“It’s something like that. They honestly taste the same,” she concluded.

“Just as a side note, I noticed more bubbling on one side; It seemed like the Pepsi was more carbonated even though I opened it first,” she clarified in the comments.

The experiment has over 293,000 views.

The commenters went crazy over the content and suggested what Shihadeh should test next.

“A can of Sprite and a McDonald’s Sprite,” one user offered, while one suggested “milk and orange juice.”

“Mouthwash and orange juice,” joked another.

She also reportedly performed a salty versus sweet taste test – with one glass containing sugar water and the other containing salt water, which she said left her brain confused. She was also “blown away” when she tried soda and water at the same time.
