She’s known for her dirty mouth — and that certainly doesn’t help.
Sarah Silverman has admitted she has shared a toothbrush with boyfriend Rory Albanese since they began dating in late 2020.
The comedian, 51, further admitted the unsavory dental practice during an interview “The View” Wednesday, declaring: “We’ve never had that before not shared a toothbrush.”
The daytime presenters were startled by the admission and co-star Sunny Hostin, 53, said she was “confused” by the behaviour.
Silverman pointed out that she’d always had her own toothbrush in previous relationships, but didn’t see what the big problem with sharing one with Albanese was.
“Why is that so blatant? We’ll kiss where we pee!” Silverman quipped, shocking the audience.
“The View” co-star Joy Behar, 79, shot back: “Not everyone does that!”
Moderator Whoopi Goldberg, 66, was forced to take the reins of the conversation before Silverman could make any other NSFW comments.
“Look, do whatever you want around your house!” Goldberg explained before quickly going into a commercial break.
“My body, my choice!” Silverman joked as the show’s theme music began playing.
Silverman went public with her relationship with Albanese — a comedian — back in October 2020.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres at the time, the star said they connected while playing video games online during the COVID-19 lockdown.
“When the world shut down, I thought I should start playing video games again,” Silverman said. “I was in New York, so at 7 a.m. we knocked out the pots and pans on the fire escape. … Then at 7:05 I would put on my headset and kill Nazis with this guy. Yadda yadda yadda, we are boyfriend and girlfriend!”
Silverman then told Howard Stern, “I’d like to be together forever. If Rory were someone to say, ‘I need to get married,’ then yes, I would think about it, I think.”
