Is this extraordinary story about to have a Hollywood ending?
Malcolm MacDonald – a divorced father who had an artificial penis made on his forearm after his real Willy “fell on the floor” – has caught the attention of actress Kate Beckinsale.
And he wants to take her out on a date.
Beckinsale, 48, took to Instagram on Thursday and shared a story about MacDonald, 47, published by The Post earlier this week.
Thrilled to be on Beckinsale’s radar, MacDonald now tells the Sun: ‘I’m ready to date again so why not her? I’ll even treat her to a pint at my local pub.”
The mechanic – who revealed he can have sex again after his artificial penis was surgically removed from his arm and installed in his pubic area – said he would pay to go on a date with the film and TV star.
But the down-to-earth dad said he’d be a fish on water in glitzy Hollywood and is hoping Beckinsale will join him for drinks in his hometown of Norfolk, England.
The Post has reached out to Beckinsale’s rep to see if they’re interested in taking up MacDonald’s offer. The actress is currently considered single.
In fact, the beauty seemed enamored with MacDonald’s sense of humor and praised him for staying upbeat amid his ongoing penis issues.
On Wednesday, Beckinsale uploaded a screenshot of The Post’s article for her 5.3million followers, saying it made her feel “temporarily better” amid an onslaught of bad news.
“Of course he’s from the UK. Of course he did a photoshoot in the rec [park] with a tail hanging out of his sleeve. Feel better instantly. God bless you Malcolm xxx,” Beckinsale wrote.
MacDonald replied: “She seems like a nice girl and it’s great that she read my story and what I’ve been through. The kisses were a nice touch too.”
On Wednesday, The Post detailed MacDonald’s extraordinary story, which began in 2010 when his penis “just fell to the floor” after suffering an infection in his perineum.
Surgeons then made a new penis for the father of two from a flap of skin on his left arm. They planned to place the artificial limb in his pubic area, but had to stop the operation due to lack of oxygen in his blood.
MacDonald was left with the artificial phallus protruding from his forearm.
A second operation to move the manhood between his legs was delayed by six years due to scheduling mix-ups, staff shortages and the COVID-19 pandemic.
MacDonald – who was first featured in The Post in 2020 – eventually got used to having the appendix on his arm.
“People ask me about it when they see me in the pub and of course people joke,” he said at the time. “But I understand. It’s not every day you see a man with a penis on his arm. Of course I see the funny side. I have to. I do not have other options.”
Earlier this year, however, doctors finally performed a successful operation that relocated MacDonald’s artificial penis from his forearm to his pubic area.
Nerves and blood vessels were harvested from the arm and sewn together in the pubic area to establish the blood supply to the manufactured penis. Urologists worked with plastic surgeons during the process to ensure MacDonald was able to have a functioning urethra – meaning he can now urinate normally.
And the clever medics even installed two hoses so MacDonald could inflate the penis with a hand pump to give himself an erection.
“This could be a turning point in my life,” enthused the divorced father, excited at the prospect of finally being able to have sex again.
Meanwhile, Beckinsale is reportedly single after actor Jason Momoa recently debunked rumors he was in love with the British-born beauty.
Like MacDonald, Beckinsale is a single parent as she is the mother of 23-year-old Lily Mo, whom she shares with ex-partner Michael Sheen.
Beckinsale dated actor Sheen for eight years from 1995 to 2003. She married filmmaker Len Wiseman the following year before they split in 2015.
More recently, Beckinsale briefly dated Pete Davidson before enjoying a nine-month romance with musician Goody Grace, which reportedly ended in October 2020.
