Manson Murder Mansion LA Location Receives $15M Price Cut

The colossal California mansion, built to replace the now-demolished home where Charles Mansion’s entourage murdered Sharon Tate and four others in 1969, is having a hard time finding a buyer.

The home, which first listed for a whopping $85 million in January, received a $15 million price cut — and now stands at $70 million.

The Beverly Hills estate sits on nearly 8 acres and is currently owned by Full House creator Jeff Franklin, who purchased the Cielo Drive home in 2007 for $6 million.

Franklin, 67, bought the home when it was only partially completed, according to an interview with The Wall Street Journal, adding that the property’s past had “no impact on my life.”

He lived in the residence until moving to Florida last year.

Before it was put up for sale, the home was rented for $250,000 a month.

The spread known as “The Cielo” estate was last used to host Bob Saget following the late comedian’s funeral on January 14.

The property extends over 21,000 square meters.

The property was designed by Richard Landry, known for building mega-mansions for celebrities and business tycoons.

The nine-bedroom, 18-bathroom Andalusian-style property spans 21,000 square feet overlooking Los Angeles.

“The view is A++ from every room in the house,” Heather Altman of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing, a broker with the representative brokerage firm, told The Post. “The seller has selected items in Southeast Asia and Europe that are unique. The estate cannot be duplicated.”

Facilities include a detached guest house, cinema, spa, gym, hair salon, billiard room and bar as listed. Outdoor amenities include a 75-meter pool with three waterfalls, two hot tubs, a 35-foot waterslide, swim-up bar, private grotto, koi pond, and lazy river.

There are a total of six aquariums in the house.

“I wanted to bring in all the influences I love from different cultures around the world,” Franklin told the Journal. “There’s a lot of California casual, and then we add SeaWorld.”

Franklin said the aquariums were partly inspired by his love of scuba diving.

“It actually saves me a lot of traveling around the world,” he joked.

Douglas Elliman’s Josh and Matt Altman head the list.
