Margot Robbie ‘shamed’ after leaked ‘Barbie’ photos

Life in plastic wasn’t fantastic.

‘Barbie’ actress Margot Robbie said she was ‘shamed’ after photos from her new film leaked onto the internet, drawing hundreds of people to the set and inspiring the Summer 2022 look, Barbiecore.

“By the way, I can’t tell you how embarrassed we were,” Robbie, who plays the iconic Mattel doll, said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“We look like we’re laughing and having fun, but we’re dying inside. Die. I thought this is the most humbling moment of my life.”

Snapped by local paparazzi, the photos, which captivated the internet for several weeks, drew hundreds of people to the set.

“I mean, I knew we had some location shoots in LA. I knew, ok, once you’ve done location shots, you’re going to be screwed. There’s probably going to be a small crowd of people who will stand out because we stand out a bit in these outfits,” Robbie said.

“So I knew there would be a bit of attention and probably some photos would come out, but not in the way that has been the case. It was crazy. It was like hundreds of people were watching.”

The ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ actress stars alongside Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken.
