Nick Cannon got a vasectomy consultation before welcoming the 8th child

Looks like Nick Cannon is done trying to “populate the earth”.

The 41-year-old father of seven – soon to be eight – tells E! News’ Daily Pop, he recently received counseling to go under the knife for a vasectomy.

“I don’t know if I would have designed it that way, but it’s one of those things when you’re blessed with the gifts of children — and as we all know, I’ve been through so much that I find comfort, I find peace in.” my kids and I’m finding purpose,” the Wild N Out host explained. “So I’m not out here looking.”

He continued, “I’ve already gone to my vasectomy consultation. I don’t plan to fully populate the earth, but I certainly look forward to taking care of and loving all the children I currently have.”

Cannon is currently expecting his eighth baby with girlfriend Brie Tiesi. He is already father to 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; 5-year-old son Golden “Sagon” and 1-year-old daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; and eleven-month-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa.

The Masked Singer host and ex-Alyssa Scott suffered a loss when her 5-month-old son Zen died of brain cancer last December.

However, the entrepreneur feels “guilty” because his busy schedule means he “doesn’t have enough time for all my kids.”

“Especially now when they’re younger. We played in the minor league with my 5 year old [Golden Cannon] this weekend. We did swim practice this week,” Cannon noted.

“I take my kids to school every morning. I FaceTime. Two weeks ago, [twins Moroccan and Monroe Cannon] had their birthday party. We’re closing Six Flags,” he added.

The “Drumline” actor explained that despite some obstacles, he’s still a “big kid at heart” and wants to be a present figure in every kid’s life.

“You’re definitely going to see some Cannons on screen and hear their music,” he joked. “I’ll have to recoup some of that. So they will be talented babies.

Cannon announced last year that he will continue to have babies if the Lord above allows him to. “God willing, if God sees it that way — then I’m going to keep doing this,” Cannon told TMZ’s street crew when asked if he plans on having more children last September.

He also pointed out earlier this year that monogamy is not “healthy.” During an appearance on The Language of Love podcast, he said, “I feel like this gets into the space of selfishness and personal responsibility… [being] is not married [being] Single.”
