Tiffany Haddish, Aries Spears Child Abuse Lawsuit

Comedians Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears will no longer face child sexual abuse charges because Jane Doe, who filed the lawsuit against them, dropped the case.

According to new court documents obtained by The Post, the now 22-year-old woman asked a judge to dismiss the case with prejudice – meaning it cannot be refiled.

The Jane Doe also released a statement with the news, according to TMZ. “My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else to do anything that could harm us. We wish Tiffany all the best and are glad we can put this all behind us,” she wrote.

In the original lawsuit, Spears and Haddish had been charged with the willful infliction of emotional distress, gross negligence, sexual harassment, sexual harassment and sexual abuse of a minor by Jane and her brother, who identified themselves as John Doe.

The lawsuit also alleged that John was “groomed and molested” by both defendants.

Haddish was also accused of negligent monitoring/failure to alert, breach of fiduciary duty and constructive fraud. The lawsuit sought general and special damages, as well as “any reasonable statutory damages.”

Lawyers for both comedians previously told The Post that the allegations were “false” and that their clients “wouldn’t fall for a shakedown.”

Haddish addressed the lawsuit in an Instagram post on September 5. “I know people have a lot of questions. I get it. I’ll be right with you Unfortunately, as there is an ongoing legal battle, I can say very little at the moment,” she wrote.

“But even though this skit was meant to be comedy, it wasn’t funny at all – and I deeply regret that I agreed to be in it,” she said of a video titled “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes,” previously posted online . ”

“I’m really looking forward to sharing much more about this situation as soon as possible,” concluded Haddish.
