Woman offers ex-husband to sell house: he should cook and clean

This real estate salesman sweetens the pot with a flesh-and-blood convenience: “Wonderful rehabbed ex-husband to have.”

Crystal Ball, 43, is trying to sell one of her lots in Panama City Beach, Fla., and lists the home as having three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a patio, a pool, a hot tub — and a Richard.

Ball and her ex-husband Richard Chaillou, 54, recently ended their seven-year relationship. However, the two remain on good terms as they continue to raise sons together and share several businesses together after their romantic split.

The newly divorced woman from Birmingham, Alabama, got her real estate license in 2019 and is currently listing two of her three properties in the beach town – one of which buyers could get a discount on listing their ex.

The property at 3819 Quail Street is on the market for $699,000 — but that price could be lowered if Chaillou is allowed to stay. Don’t worry! He will not be a total freeloader.

A picture of Beefcake Pictures promoting the property shows Chaillou suggestively posing with a stuffed white tiger indoors, playfully flaunting his tensed muscles and coyly leaning against a doorframe with his pinky to his lips.

An animalistic exterior photo shows Ball’s “wonderfully rehabilitated ex-husband” sprawled, legs wide apart, on a cheetah-print blanket.

“Hopefully someone sees the funny side of this and takes the house and Richard out of my hands sooner rather than later!”

Aside from the hilarious photos, the listing claims that Chaillou will help cook, clean, and manage repairs throughout the DIY quest.

“This dream man in the kitchen is a personal chef and waiter who cooks perfect meals on a new range with updated countertops to make memories to cherish. Headgear worn, mostly bare, like the eagles soaring in the skies over S. Lagoon, just steps from your massive driveway,” reads the online listing.

“XL ears pick up creaks and ensure WD40 is applied to your new lights. The big Italian nose catches every smell before you even think about taking the trash out of your decorative front door.”

Ball’s hyped job continued, “Superhuman strength will save your back years of hard work lifting your hot tub cover where you can fall in love listening to our two boys splash around in the pool. The tenants’ new metal knees should outlast the new LVP flooring that has just been expertly installed.”

“I’m a big fan of creative marketing tactics and felt this was a fitting way to announce my divorce, name change and new brokerage startup,” Ball told Newsweek.

Meanwhile, the property listing has been removed several times, with stockbrokers Ball saying it’s against the rules, but claiming it’s common practice in the state for homes to be sold with tenants belonging to investment properties.

Overall, she said the reactions have been positive and humorous.

“Taking the photos was hilarious and I particularly like the look of the tiger in some of the shots,” she said.

“Hopefully someone will see the funny side of this and take both the house and Richard out of my hands sooner rather than later!”
